It is recommended that places are reserved as soon as possible by returning the delegate registration form or by registering on-line. Participants are encouraged to register no later than 19 September 2006 as after this date places may be limited.

The conference registration fees cover the cost of all conference documentation together with lunches and refreshments on each day of the conference, the welcome reception on the evening of 4 October and the closing reception on the evening of 6 October.

The conference registration fees will not cover the cost of evening meals, overnight accommodation and the programme of social events on the evening of 5 October.

The registration fees for the Pre-Conference Training and Professional Development Workshops cover the cost of workshop documentation and refreshments but lunch will not be provided.

The official currency of the conference is sterling but arrangements can be made to accept alternative currencies.

Conference Registration Fees

2006 UKES or EES members
Conference registration fee £350.00 + £61.25 VAT = £411.25 (approximate equivalent 600 € )


Non UKES or EES members
Conference registration fee £425.00 + £74.38 VAT = £499.38 (approximate equivalent 728 € )


Training and Professional Development Workshops Registration Fees

The workshops are open to UKES or EES members only and priority will be given to those also registered to attend the main conference. A 25% discount is available for participants registering for four workshop sessions.

Single workshop £80.00 + £14.00 VAT = £94.00 (approximate equivalent 138 € )

Four workshops £240.00 + VAT + £42.00 = £282.00 (approximate equivalent 413 € ) (25% discount)


Membership of EES or UKES

Delegates who wish to join EES or UKES in order to take advantage of the special members' registration fee, as well as the many other benefits of membership, may do so when registering or by contacting either Society.

Bursaries

The UKES and EES have been successful in obtaining sponsorship support for individuals who require assistance with meeting the registration fees in order to attend the conference.

Funding is limited, however, and priority will be given to participants who are contributing to the conference programme.

Bursary applications should be submitted as soon as possible and no later than 20 July. Applicants will be informed of the decision regarding their bursaries in good time after this date to enable them to make travel arrangements. After 20 July, requests for bursaries can only be considered if funding permits.

Booking conditions

In the event of cancellations notified in writing before 19 September 2006 a 20% administration charge will be applicable. The registration fee must be paid in full in respect of cancellations received after 19 September 2006 . Please note that cancellations must be confirmed in writing and acknowledged by the conference administrators or delegates will remain liable for the full registration fee. Substitutions can be made at any time but should be confirmed in writing.
